What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Contact forms
We collect information via our contact forms which are then kept in our CRM and marketing automation platforms for the purpose of serving your immediate and longer term needs for our services in sales, service & marketing support as well as Salesforce Sales, Service, Community, Nonprofit, Pardot and Marketing Cloud implementation needs. Over time, aggregate insights will be used for business development purposes.
If you come to any of our user groups, i.e. London Marketing Cloud User group or the Brighton Salesforce User Group, we hold some of your contact details in Meetup, Eventbrite, Pardot and/or the Salesforce Trailblazer Community portal, so we can easily invite you again for upcoming sessions and/or respond to your outstanding requests. We will hold this information till it no longer serves that purpose.

Who we share your data with & how long we retain your data
Data retention
CloudAnalysts retains personal data, as necessary, for the duration of the relevant business relationship. We may also retain personal data for longer than the duration of the business relationship should we need to retain it to protect ourselves against legal claims, use it for analysis or historical record-keeping, or comply with our information management policies and schedules.
If you request that we delete your personal data, CloudAnalysts will make reasonable attempts to delete all instances of the information in their entirety. For requests for access, corrections, or deletion, please refer to the “Your Rights” section of this Privacy Policy.
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
Your Rights – What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where we send your data
Visitor comments and form entries may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
What third parties we receive data from
Google Analytics, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Linkedin and other related social media sites and their plugins may bring us cookied information through our connectors, forms, etc.
We don’t purchase nor sell email addresses or private personal information.
What automated decision making and/or profiling we do with user data
At this stage no automated decision making nor profiling is intended, other than the obvious: form fills do receive autoresponders and are put onto email lists to receive bespoke correspondence in response to their enquiries and stated interests.
